Warranty Overview

Johnny’s Custom Painting Inc. is committed to quality and customer satisfaction, offering a Limited Warranty on our epoxy concrete coating services. This warranty is designed to provide confidence in our products and ensure they meet your expectations.

Residential Installations

  • - Interior Applications: We guarantee that for ten (10) years from the installation date, the epoxy concrete coating will adhere to the substrate and not peel under normal use conditions, provided the installation follows our instructions.

  • - Exterior Applications: A three (3) year limited warranty is offered against peeling and delamination for exterior residential installations.

Commercial Installations

  • - Interior Applications: A three (3) year limited warranty is provided for interior commercial installations, ensuring the epoxy coatings do not peel or delaminate under regular usage.

  • - Exterior Applications: Johnny’s Custom Painting Inc. offers a one (1) year limited warranty for exterior commercial installations against peeling and delamination.

Warranty Conditions

- This warranty applies only if the coatings are installed by Johnny’s Custom Painting Inc. or an authorized installer.

- The owner must notify Johnny’s Custom Painting Inc. in writing within thirty (30) days of noticing a potential claim to benefit from this warranty.

- The warranty is non-transferable and applicable only to the original owner of the property where the installation was completed.

Exclusions

  • - Damage from improper installation or usage contrary to our instructions.

  • - Normal wear and tear.

  • - Exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, or water vapor emissions exceeding recommended levels.

  • - Accidents, abuse, or natural disasters.

  • - Structural movement or cracking of the substrate.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability under this warranty is limited to the replacement of defective materials or refunding the original purchase price, at our discretion. We are not responsible for any labor costs incurred for removal or reapplication of the product.

Legal Rights

This warranty provides specific legal rights, and you may have additional rights that vary by state. Some states do not permit limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Service Guarantee

Johnny’s Custom Painting Inc. guarantees this service to be free from defects in materials and labor that impact its performance from the date of contact. The company will replace or repair at no charge the amount of coating it determines has failed to perform, as the sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of this warranty or other defect or failure of the coating. Proof of purchase is necessary. To make a valid warranty claim, you must:

  • 1. Pay the full contract price.

  • 2. Keep a copy of the original contract.

  • 3. Retain a copy of your canceled check or other evidence of full payment.

  • 4. Cover the cost of all materials used for repairs.

5. Ensure the property is accessible to Johnny’s Custom Painting Inc for inspection and warranty work or repairs.

Service Limitations

  • - Work where Johnny’s Custom Painting Inc did not supply the paint or other materials.

  • - Work not performed by Johnny’s Custom Painting Inc.

  • - Yellowing or amber clear coat.

  • - Surfaces made of, or containing, galvanized metal.

  • - Repairs to horizontal surfaces or any surface designed to allow moisture collection, including decks, railings, stairs, porches, roofs, and wood gutters.

  • - Exact paint match due to environmental conditions affecting color and finish over time.

  • - Repairs necessitated by a defect in the coating, regardless of whether the paint was supplied by Johnny’s Custom Painting Inc or the customer.

  • - Bleeding caused by rust or stains.

  • - Cracks in concrete.

  • - Peeling, blistering, or chipping due to:

    •   - Ordinary wear and tear.

    •   - Abnormal use or misuse.

    •   - Structural defects.

    •   - Settling or movement.

    •   - Moisture content of the substrate.

    •   - Abrasion, mechanical damage, abrasive cleaning, abuse, or damage from chemicals or cleaning agents, or exposure to harmful solids, liquids, or gases.

    • - Damage or defects caused in whole or in part by fire, explosion, flood, acts of God, extreme weather conditions, misuse, alterations, abuse, vandalism, negligence, or similar causes beyond Johnny’s Custom Painting Inc’s control.
